Lost & Found

If you may have lost something while riding the bus please call (309) 828-9833 or fill out and submit the form below. Items found on the bus will be taken to Connect Transit, 351 Wylie Drive, Normal, IL 61761, at the end of the route. Drivers will turn in all items at the conclusion of evening service and at that point items will be logged and ready for pickup. Items will be held for 30 days then discarded if not picked up. At no time does Connect Transit assume responsibility for lost items.

 

Lost and Found Claims can be submitted in one of three ways:
 

  1. In person
    • Connect Transit’s lost and found is located at 351 Wylie Drive Normal, IL 61761
    • Lost items may only be picked up Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
       
  2. Via Phone
    • If you’d like to speak with a Connect Transit staff member to report a lost item please call 309-828-9833.
       
  3. Online

    We will contact you only if a match is found for your claimed item.  It may take up to three weeks for us to match your item, retrieve it and contact you.  If we do not contact you within four weeks, unfortunately, it means that your item was not recovered.

    • Please do not report the same lost item more than once.  Repeated claims by web and or phone can delay the process of return.
